This paper proposes a discussion on the unique approach of the artwork of Martin Parr as a way to experience and participate in the construction of a contemporary social landscape. It’ll seek to understand the interplay between real and virtual and the role that photography inhabits in his aesthetic strategies. Through the analysis of some of its most emblematic artworks, we can see how was it established a game between dichotomies, but then again especially note that in contemporary society isn’t suffice to access experience but to enunciate it publicly.
